From your Hiking Leaders

Welcome to the 2023-2024 hiking season at Palm Creek. We believe hiking helps maintain physical and mental wellness through enjoying the outdoors, exercising, and socializing with fellow hikers in beautiful surroundings.

The leader of the club is John Robichaud. When you sign up for the club you will: 

1. Sign a Waiver 
2. Pay a $10.00 fee is for Safety Spot Equipment, payment of milage for leaders pre-hiking exertions and the year end party. 
3. Provide an email address in order to receive emails from John. The email provides information and directions for the hike.  

Hikers gather every Friday at the main mailboxes at about 7:30 to sign up for the hike. Some hikers volunteer to give their fellow hikers a ride to the trailhead and back. Riders compensate the drivers $10.00. 

1. Sign up for the hike you wish to hike (short, medium and long hikes) 
2.  If you are a driver, sign up your car and the number of passengers you can take. 
3. Sign up for a ride, 

Be ready to leave by 8:00. We are always in need of vehicles to caravan to the hike. Keep in mind when you decide to ride with someone, that Covid 19 and flu are still circulating this fall, so please take the proper precautions.
