March 18, 2022 Brown Mountain Loop - Medium and Long Hike - Hikers in the Short Hiking Group are going to Brown Mountain

This is an interesting hike with two distinct components to it. One part is a relatively flat walk at the base of some hills and amongst plentiful vegetation of palo verde, saguaro and barrel cactus while the other is a ridgeline hike along a small range of hills with four peaks, offering outstanding views for almost its entire length. There is some stair-stepping so a good hiking stick or two would be an advantage plus the weather is forecast to be partly sunny with a high of 80 degrees so bring plenty of water and sunscreen! Restrooms are available.
